We had a fantastic time at the BC Association Metro Vancouver Christmas party, hosted by Bob and Dawn Krahn. Pastors, executives and their families joined for a fun time of visiting, delicious food and a comical white elephant gift exchange! We hope that all of you had meaningful Christmas celebrations, and now we look to a new year. Not just a new year, but a new decade. We are excited to see how God works in 2020.
Many blessings and Happy New Year!!!
“The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” Exodus 15:2
Every three years, high school students from across the NAB come together in Orange County for an experience unlike any other. For five jam-packed days, students hear from gifted speakers, sing praises to God, dive into the Word, engage in service projects, and interact with others from across Canada and the US.
This is The Gathering, a youth conference and missions experience that provides students with a variety of thoughtful experiences to dive deeper in faith, community, and service as an opportunity to become ambassadors for Jesus in Orange County and inspire them to serve God and others when they return home. The Gathering is the only venue that assembles students from across the NAB in one place for a time of worship, service, transformation, and fun.

Bob and Dawn were thrilled to be able to join the enthusiastic youth from Bethany Baptist, Richmond, under the leadership of Kelly Madland and Rita Anderson, at Pelly Crossing in the Yukon to work with the children there this July. They ran a kids Bible program, handed out Bibles, and hosted a community bbq with fresh bannock, singing, and face painting. The kids had lots of fun painting Bob’s head! God is working at Pelly Crossing and we are excited to see what He has in store for the future.
